This was live-blogged so if there are any errors they will be corrected in time.
The episode begins on the freighter at night. Lapidus encounters one of the crew members. He asks if he is ready. He says don't be late frank. Frank encounters Regina. He apologizes for spooking her. He tells her that the book she is reading is upside down. The book is Survivury _ (spelling?). She readjusts the book. He enters the room and checks in on Sayid and Desmond.
Frank tells them that the captain wasn't too happy that they busted out of the holding room. They tell him that the door was opened. They thought that he was the one who had opened it. Frank denies it was him. He tells them he was not successful in contacting anyone on the beach. The food he brought them was lima beans. Sayid says that he still wants to talk with the captain. Frank says no you don't.
The scene goes back to the island.
Sun is on the beach in front of the fire. Jin walks and sits near her. They talk about getting off the island. Jin wants to talk about naming the baby. Sun does not want to due to superstition. Jin wants to name her Ji Yeon if it is a girl. Sun tells him that they should get off the island first before naming the child.
The scene flashes to the future. Sun is packing some items into a purse. She has the TV on in the background and turns it off. She applies makeup but then feels an internal pang. She calls Emergency Services (Korean version of 911) and says that she needs an ambulance and she thinks something is wrong.
The scene cuts out.
The scene cuts back in. It appears that Jin is in Korea. He walks into a toy store. He is walking around frantically. The clerk ask if he needs help. He says he is looking for a panda. Jin tells the clerk that he is going to the hospital. The clerk tells him that the panda costs 50 thousand Won. Jin tells him that he is going to the maternity ward, Jin says he doesn't know if it is a girl or a boy. Jin's cell rings. He says that he is on his way.
The scene goes back to the Island. Sun wakes Jin up and says that Kate and Jack are back. They go over to Kate and ask what had happened. Kate says that the red head (Charlotte) had hit her over the head. Kate says that Juliet lied to Jack that they were going to a power station when it was in fact a poison gas factory. Sun asks why they were going there. Kate says that they were probably trying to earn "brownie" points. Kate says that they (Daniel and Charlotte) have talked about a lot of things, but none of them concern getting the survivors off the Island.
The scene flashes to the freighter where Desmond wakes up. A note is slipped through the bottom of the door. Sayid and Desmond look at the note. Sayid picks it up and opens it. Sayid tells Desmond that three days ago when he was in Locke's camp Ben had claimed that he had a spy on the boat. They look at the note. It says: "DON'T TRUST THE CAPTAIN."
The scene flashes back to the Beach. Sun encounters Daniel and they greet each other. Sun says that she is two months pregnant. Sun asks Daniel if they are their to rescue them.
Daniel tries to find words. He says that it is not his call. Sun says thank you. Meanwhile Jin asks Jack for some cereal. Jin says he understand English better then he speaks it. He says Sun has been teaching him but Sawyer was better at it. Sun appears troubled. She watches Jack leave. She speaks to Jin in Korean. She says that the need to gather some supplies and that they are going to go over to Locke's camp.
The scene cuts out.
The scene cuts back in Sun is frantically searching for something. Juliet catches her. Sun says that she was looking for another bottle of the vitamins (the prenatals) that Juliet had given her. Juliet asks her if there were about 20 pills left from the prior bottle. Juliet asks her if she is going on a trip. Sun asks he to just give them to her. Juliet asks her where she is going and Sun tells her that she is going to Locke's camp. Sun says that she does not trust these new people. Juliet reminds Sun that pregnant women do not survive on the island. Juliet admits that she has been less then truthful about somethings, but she promises that she is not lying about that. Juliet says that Sun should at least have her trust. Sun tells Juliet that Claire's baby is fine, that she is fine, she says all that she has is the stories from Juliet that she will get sick. Sun tells her that she does not trust her anymore. She takes the prenatal pills from Juliet.
The scenes flashes to the future. Sun is wheeled into the ER at the hospital. One of the nurses says that she is one of the "Oceanic 6". In the room where she is being held,
a nurse takes off the jewelry that she is wearing. The nurse tries to pull off the wedding ring from her finger. Sun tells her not to.
A doctor walks in the room. He says that his name is Dr. Bae, and that he is on duty for Dr. Park. Bae tells her that Dr. Park is away at a conference. Sun is given some meds. Dr. Bae says that the baby is in distress but he doesn't know what is wrong with it. Dr. Bae asks if there is anyone that they should contact. She asks for her husband Jin.
The scene goes to Jin where he is walking out of the toy store with the panda bear. He puts the panda bear in the taxi, his cell phone rings, someone bumps into him
and the phone drops unto the road. The cell phone ends up being run over by a small motorcycle. As he picks up the phone, someone else steps into the taxi cab.
The license plate is: 38L| 2369. The taxi speeds away as Jin chases it on foot with no luck. Jin slams the broken cell phone unto the road again. He goes back to the toy store and asks for another panda bear. The clerk says that there are no more, although Jin sees one right behind the clerk. The clerk tells him that that one is on hold. The clerk says that it is the year of the Dragon (Note: the year of the Dragon last occurred between February 5, 2000 till January 24, 2001, the next one occurs in 2012, flight 815 had crashed on September 22, 2004) Jin gives him a lot of money. The clerk gives in and gives the panda to him.
The scene goes back to the Island. Kate is giving instructions to Jin and Sun about how to get to Locke's camp. Juliet walks in on their conversation. Juliet tries to stop them. Sun says that she will not translate for her. She tells them that Sun will die in 3 weeks if she does not get off the Island. Jin tells her that wherever Sun goes, he will go. They walk off. Juliet tries one more time. She tells Jin that Sun had an affair. She says Sun thought the baby was his. Sun slaps her. Jin looks in disbelief. Jin walks away.
The scene cuts out.
The scene cuts back in, Sun and Jin are on the beach. Sun is trying to apologize after Juliet told him the bad news. Bernard walks in after noticing Jin gathering his fishing equipment, but barely notices the bad situation going on. They eventually go fishing. Sun is left on the beach. As Bernard and Jin are fishing on a boat, he tells Jin that they are the only two married guys on the campus. Bernard tells him that Rose has cancer, that she is sick and dying, at least she was. He tells him that she is better because of the Island, but when the camp split up she was sure that she would go with Locke's camp. He says that she did it because it was the right thing to do. Locke is a murder. Bernard tells him that is all about kharma, you make choices, bad things will happen to you, you make good choices, good things will happen to you. He tells him that they must be the good guys.
The scene goes back to the freighter. They hear a banging clanking noise. Desmond keeps pacing around. Sayid tells Desmond he thinks someone is intentionally doing it. The doctor walks in he says that the captain is ready to see them. They all walk unto the deck. They notice the helicopter is gone. The doctor says that Lapidus is running an errand. Desmond sees Regina walking around with heavy chains. She jumps off the boat into the ocean. Desmond and Sayid try to rescue her. A man walks out from the captains quarters. The man says its over she's gone, and tells everyone to go back to their posts.
The man says that he is Captain Gouldt (spelling?). He knows that Sayid and Desmond have a few questions.
The scene cuts out.
The scene cuts back in as Sayid, Desmond and the Captain are arguing that nothing was done to save Regina from jumping overboard. The Captain says that he didn't do anything because he doesn't want anything to happen to them. He says that most of the crew has been suffering from a heighten case of cabin fever. He thinks it has to do something with the close proximity of the Island. He says he can't do anything because there is a saboteur on the ship that has been slowing them down. The Captain says that once things start to run smoothly again, that they will go to safer waters. The Captain says that his orders came from Charles Widmore. Desmond looks in disbelief. The boat belongs to the father of his girlfriend, Penny.
They walk into the Captains quarters. The captain bends over to get something from the bottom shelf. He asks them if they know what the item he is holding is. Sayid tells him that he knows what it is. It is a Black Box to a aircraft. The Captain tells him of more strange things. The Black Box is from Oceanic flight 815. Sayid and Desmond look in disbelief. The Captain continues and tells them that it was recovered by a salvage boat at the bottom of the ocean. He says that it took a lot of resources from Charles Widmore to procur it. He also tells them that it was found along with the wreckage and all 324 dead bodies. He says that it is not the complete story considering Sayid is standing alive right in front of him. He tells them that the wreckage was obviously staged. He tells them to imagine what kind of resources and manpower it would take to stage something of that magnitude. The recovery of a fake plane crash, putting 324 families into a grieving process based on a lie, but what is even more disturbing is where does one come across 324 dead bodies. He tells them that those are just a few reasons why they want Benjamin Linus.
The scene goes back to the beach. Sun is sitting down and Juliet walks up to her and apologizes to her. Juliet reminds her that she needs to get off the Island. Juliet says that she doesn't know whether or not if the freight boat is the answer to their problems but it is something. Juliet details the information of what will happen to Sun should she remain on the Island, that she will eventually die, along with her unborn child.
The scene goes back to the future where Sun is giving birth. The doctor says that he needs to perform a c-section. Sun insists on a natural birth. Sun thinks she sees Jin outside in the hallway. It is another man. Sun goes through the process of giving birth. We find out that the baby is a girl.
The scene goes back to the freighter. The doctor walks Sayid and Desmond from the Captains quarters back down into the freighter. He says that they will like their new room, that it is quiet. Sayid says that the ship isn't moving. The doctor says
if you say so. Their new room is infested with roaches and mice, there is blood spatter on the wall from what seems to be from a gun shot to the head. The doctor turns around and asks if the janitor down the hallway is Johnson. He asks Johnson
to mop the room up. Johnson tries to evade this. We find out that Johnson is actually Michael who supposedly left the Island in an earlier Season. Michael says his name is Kevin Johnson.
The scene cuts out.
The scene comes back in where Sun is in her tent on the beach. She notices Jin. Jin says that he made her dinner. Sun wants to explain to him. Jin says it doesn't matter. Jin says he knows what kind of man he used to be, before the Island, he witheld his affections, and that he knows that whatever she did, she did it to that man (Jin's older self), his actions caused this. Jin tells her that he forgives her. He tells her that he will go with her to Locke's camp. She tells him that she changed her mind because of Juliet and will stay for now in Jack's camp. Jin asks her to tell him just one thing, whether or not if the baby is his or not. We find out that it is in fact his. Jin tells Sun that she "will never lose him."
The scene flashes to the future where we see Jin running into the hospital. Jin walks up to a man who is guarding a room. He introduces himself to the man. Jin says that he is a representative of Paik Automotive. Jin says he heard that the Ambassador is now a grandfather. He says he came over to give a gift. The guard says that the baby is a boy. Jin dresses up the panda bear with some blue ribbon.
Jin greets the Ambassador and says that Paik Automotive is eager to do business in the great country of China. He tells Jin to tell Mr. Paik thank you. Jin sneeks a peak into the room and sees a mother with a child, and the grandmother. The mother is not Sun.
Jin walks out of the doors, where he is greeted by the reception nurse. He tells her that it was not his baby. He tells her not to rush him, he has only been married for two months.
The scene goes to Sun where she is looking at her wedding ring in a bag from Choogdong Hospital. She puts on the ring. She is wearing a black dress. The doorbell rings. She goes to answer it. We find out that it is Hurley who has come to visit her. He asks if anyone else is coming. She tells him no. Hurly says good. Hurly asks where is she. He goes to see the baby. Hurley tells her the baby looks just like Jin.
Hurley tells her that they should go see him. They are in a cemetery.
Sun "speaks" with Jin at his grave. She says that it was a girl. She said that the doctor said that she was calling for him (even though he is now dead) and she named her Ji Yeon.
The one eerie and strange thing is what appears on the tombstone. The tombstone appears to read: 1980 3 20 (March 20, 1980), Born 1974 11 27 (November 27, 1974) Died 2004 9 22 (September 22, 2004, the day flight 815 crashed).
Sun grieves.
